Standards compatibility

This website has been designed and programmed following the guidelines of the WAI initiative (Web Accessibility Initiative, www.w3.org/WAI), which sets international standards in the creation of web content accessible to everyone.

Accessibility guidelines

A number of measures have been taken to make the website more accessible, including:

• Logical order of presentation of the elements on the screen.
• Simplified navigation system, drop-down menus are not used.
• Descriptive text for images.
• Keyboard access to the main options.

Keyboard shortcuts

Most browsers support going directly to specific links by pressing certain key combinations (access keys) defined on the website.

For example, in Windows it works by pressing  Alt + Acces key (in Internet Explorer you must also press the enter); in Macintosh, it works by pressing Ctrl + Access key.

The following access keys are available on our portal:

Links

Most links whose text does not fully describe the destination have "title" attributes with a clarification.

Where possible, links are written in a way that makes sense out of context. Some browsers (such as JAWS, Home Page Reader, Lynx, and Opera) can extract the list of links from the current page and allow the user to navigate from this list. Taking this into account, the links are not duplicated and if they are, it is because they access the same content.

There are no javascript pseudo-links. All links can be followed in any browser, even if javascript is disabled.
